I am thankful for my husband, my children, my grandchild, my brother and his family, a legacy of good parents, good jobs, good homes, good health, the love of Christ. I am blessed.
It was a year ago this week that my Daddy passed away. I miss him so much. He was the first man I ever loved and he taught me so much about love and family and the Lord.
He lived his life as a servant of the Lord and was faithful and true to the end. He left a godly legacy to his family.
The Bible says we have a "cloud of witnesses" watching us as we run our race in this life. I believe my Daddy sees me and our family. I hope we make him proud.
Clair Russell has been the wife of Roger for 33 years and she is the mother of four children - two grown children and two "in-law" children she counts as her own - and one granddaughter and one grandson. She has been keeping a home for 40 years. There is nothing she would rather do than spend time with her family. She has a love and passion for all things domestic and for learning new skills, and enjoys teaching these skills to others. She makes quilts, loves to cook and really enjoys entertaining in her home. Concerned, because it seemed that among her generation of women the homemaking arts were being cast aside or forgotten, she began to pray about how to inspire her daughter's generation to embrace homemaking and to realize that, no matter what the world says, being a wife and mother and making a home for a family is a high and holy calling from the Lord. When she was facing an empty nest about 12 years ago, God gave her the vision for Divine Design which is based on Titus 2. She hopes to spend the rest of her life as an older women inspiring younger women to love their husbands and children and be keepers at home so that the Word of God is not maligned.
